#1 KELLIWOOD

The Kelliwood neighborhoods are well established and mature subdivisions featuring homes built in the 1980s. In total, there are over 13 Kelliwood subdivisions: Kelliwood, Kelliwood Courts, Kelliwood Enclave, Kelliwood Gardens, Kelliwood Green, Kelliwood Lakes, Kelliwood Links, Nottingham Country, Kelliwood Place, Kelliwood Pointe, Kelliwood Terrace, Kelliwood Trails, Lakes of Buckingham, and Lake Forest of Kelliwood. Each subdivision is well planned; many feature lakes and golf courses and all are in the amazing Katy ISD school district. It is clear that the Kelliwood neighborhoods are created with family in mind. In fact the builder named the subdivisions after his daughter Kelli!

#2 GREEN TRAILS

The Green Trails neighborhoods are located on the East side of Katy making them sought after for Houston commuters. There are multiple Green Trails neighborhoods: Green Trails Crossing, Green Trails Forest, Green Trails Oaks, Green Trails Park, and Green Trails Village, all of which feed into highly acclaimed Katy ISD schools. Each of the green trails subdivisions contains two recreation centers each with a swimming pool, tennis courts, and playground. The subdivisions all have an inviting atmosphere where block parties, swim team practices, are a common occurrence.

#3 WINDSOR PARK LAKES

Windsor Park Lakes is a Mediterranean style neighborhood filled with brightly colored tile roofs, palm trees, and expansive lakes. Windsor Park Lakes is a gated neighborhood with numerous amenities but the 50 acres of lakes are a huge draw for the neighborhood’s residents. Waterfront homes have large private docks so families can launch boats and fish from their own backyard. With lighted fountains, and rock waterfalls Windsor Park Lakes is a getaway from city living. The neighborhood residents can also take advantage of amenities such as a swimming pool, beach area, fitness center, basketball and tennis courts, child play area, and peaceful, waterside gazebos.
